POTTA Spring Lock-In 2009
The Spring Lock-IN theme POTTAS ROCK was a huge smash hit. Featuring our own Founders Room Rock Stage, the POTTAS and their Zackley friends partied (almost) all night. The room featured an amazing maze, a garage for garage rock, dancing (dance, dance, revolution) and of course the main stage. Here are the first of our pictures. We'll be posting more shortly! ZACKLEY BOUNDARY WATERS TRIP 2009
As July came to a close, 33 youth of the Zackley senior high youth group made their way to northern Minnesota for a week in the wilds of the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness, canoeing on the lakes between the U.S. and Canada. Led by 10 fearless adults of First Congregational, this trip continued a tradition of our church that's more than 40 years old. They left behind all modern conveniences and paddled off with only as many personal items as could fit in something the size of a large grocery bag. All so that they could experience a world apart from the hustle and bustle of their every day lives and connect again with something greater than themselves.
