We're so pleased you found our website, and I hope you’ll spend a little time here getting to know us. We think you’ll find us to be a happy, dynamic, and diverse church family devoted to God, to each other, to our community, to justice, and to all humankind.
Maybe that sounds like a big mission. We guess it is, but it’s also a joyful one.
Our tradition is one of love and acceptance, and our membership (700 strong) reflects this in a rainbow of colors, ages, incomes, mental/physical challenges, and sexual orientations. Some of our members grew up in the United Church of Christ. Many more did not.
It doesn’t matter. ALL are welcome here. All are loved here. All are invited to grow closer to their God here.
To that end, we offer a rich variety of services, enrichment programs, and worship experiences. We have interesting programs for children and youth of all ages, including Sunday School and an After-School Enrichment Program for younger kids. We have social/service groups for junior high and high school-aged youth. We have amazing music programs for people of all ages, including professional instruction at our on-site Music Conservatory. We reach out to those in need with (among other things) our Saturday Lunch Program for the homeless among us. And we host a myriad of community service organizations like AA, the Boy Scouts, and Tough Love. We even hold a weekly yoga class!
Come to any of these--and bring a friend, if you like. Again, all are welcome. For a better look at what’s available this month, call us at 708.352.0800, or send us an email and we’ll send you our monthly newsletter of events.
We’d love to meet you, and hope you find a reason to come see us. (Or click here and we’ll come to you!) In the meantime, if we can be of service to you, just call the number above or click on the appropriate link to your right.
