The month of February is a time of reflection of history; a tribute to those who have overcome suffering and injustice; and praise for a powerful and sustaining God. From the Amistad to the presidency, the United Church of Christ is forever entwined in the history of a people who stood with courage and pushed forward with faith. The Church House honors this rich legacy each February through worship, education and events. Use these resources to join the UCC in celebrating an empowering history that defines us not only as people of color but as people of faith.

![]() | Education at FCCLG is many faceted. We have Sunday School on Sunday mornings for our kids and youth infant-8th grade! We have adult education through out the year at various times. We have a very active youth group for high school students called Zackleys, and we have a budding Junior High ministry for 6th-8th graders. 8th graders are also invited to participate in Confirmation. We also have a new program for families called The FAM! For more information on our programs, contact Rev. Katie Lancaster. |
Ministry of Education
Each year, a handful of talented, dedicated individuals work to plan and implement the education ministries at FCCLG. This year the Ministry of Education (lovingly called MoE) includes Carol Smith (chair), JoAnne Konkle, Megan Styx, Mary Stamm, Gail Harris-Schmidt, and Peggy Voth.
