First Congregational Church of La Grange

Our Ministry of Worship (MOW) is a team of lay leaders who meet regularly to guide the trajectory of our worshiping life.  As we listen for our still-speaking God, MOW discerns new, creative ways to understand and experience God in worship.  This year, our MOW team includes Susan Blazek (chair), Tom Pitman, Lex Bart, Paul Likness.  Staff liaisons are Ryan Cox and Dr. Rich Wolf.

 Worship at FCCLG is traditional, yet progressive.  It is both reflective and responsive.  Music is soulful and moving - a mix of congregational singing and a medley of talented musicians.  Preachers use scripture to shed light on the 21st century, and 21st century language to shed light on scripture.
