LTHS Graduation is Sunday June 3. Graduates are invited to come to worship, so we can celebrate with you! Parents, if you'd like to have a graduation announcement in our church newsletter, please send information to tammy@fcclg.org !!

This year's Boundary Waters trip is Saturday July 21-Sunday July 29. Expect to depart early in the morning. Though we return from our trip on July 29th, we are invited to "tell our story" and lead worship worship on Sunday August 12.
We will have our Boundary Waters parent/youth meeting on Wednesday June 13th at 7pm in the Chapel (just inside the 6th avenue entrance). This is a chance to learn all of our BWCA details, and we expect leaders, parents, returning Zackleys, and new Zackleys to attend. It is important for returning canoers to join us, so that you can help answer questions and encourage newcomers! It is part of building up our community!
The cost for Boundary Waters this year is $450. Please feel free to download the BWCA registration form. The due date for registration and payment is Sunday June 24th. All forms can be submitted electronically to katie@fcclg.org - but please ensure that the form is filled out entirely, and a parent and youth signatures are present where indicated on the form. Payments may also be made electronically through our new secure online payment profile. Please be sure to indicate the participant you are registering.
Finally, before we depart for our canoe trip, we must PACK OUR FOOD. This will be on a week day evening, the week of July 23-27. Watch for the final date and location for our food packing day.
If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me katie@fcclg.org In the end, Boundary Waters is ultimately a way to get connected. Spend a week trekking through the wilderness with someone, and you'll have made a lifelong bond. The canoe trip is an incredible experience whether your favorite part is paddling through lily pads, watching for eagles, campfire conversations, swimming every day, or stargazing.
I hope that if you've never been to BWCA before, you'll talk to someone who has. And, if you have been to the BWCA, and loved it, you'll invite someone you know. This is your chance to reach out and touch lives.
The Zackleys High School Youth Group meets during the school year on Sunday nights from 6:30pm to 8pm. You can find us in the church attic. Access our meeting space through room 310. Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey… The High School Youth of First Congregational Church of La Grange gather as a faith community to relax from life’s pressures, explore our own faith as well as the faith of others, discover who we are and accept others for who they are. We are committed to having fun as we challenge each other and ourselves to grow from a foundation of trust, honesty, mutual respect and spiritual health. Wondering what Zackleys is all about?
| With God’s help and guidance, we support our church, our community and most importantly each other as we prepare for life’s path. Whoever you are, and wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here. |
