Let's try being normal! Every Fall we kick off the new school and church year with a special celebration of worship and a picnic. This year's plan is to start from the ground up.
Let's try being normal! Every Fall we kick off the new school and church year with a special celebration of worship and a picnic. This year's plan is to start from the ground up. Sunday worship will focus the the land we stand upon. The choir will sing (check this with Ryan), the children will gather on the steps at the front of the church, and we'll meet and greet friends old and new. Following worship, we'll gather for a picnic lunch either in the church yard, or in the Dining Room if weather is wet. Watch the bulletin and social media for details.
However, we need to assemble a team to plan and make this happen. We need 6 - 8 people to commit to a task force who will:
make food arrangements (Potluck? Take Out? Hybrid?)
make decisions about location based upon weather
set up, take down.
plan activities for all ages (corn hole? climbing wall? bounce house?)
communicate all of the above to the office so it can be advertised.
